Our one of a kind USA handmade dog collar with light green, orange and light blue colored jacquard ribbon hand sewn onto a heavy duty silver, orange or light blue polypropylene webbing then completed with a plastic snap buckle and stainless D-ring. This ribbon is doggie scratch proof and made to hold up against any weather, dirt and scuffles that your dog can do to it. Combining this woven ribbon to polypropylene webbing, it also makes it waterproof. We found though the years that nylon is strong but after while it breaks down with water and washing it. Our webbing holds up better and you will need to wash it less because it doesn’t smell. See below…
Webbing (backing) is a polypropylene webbing is a soft, flexible fabric of woven fibers. Made from thermoplastic resins, this versatile material is perfect for outdoor use due to its UV resistance and waterproof fibers. Wet polypropylene webbing won’t stretch like nylon webbing and is more resistant to acid, alkaline, oil, and grease.
